This presentation  represents what we learned this semester in our foundation seminar for the  Arts Residential College. We have focused on topical issues in relation to  music and the arts. Through the use of songs and their impactful lyrics,  artists are able to address issues promoting change and awareness.

This playlist contains songs from ‘present, featuring artists across  different genres who have made commentary to expose and eradicate racism.  Artists such as John Legend, En Vogue, and Beyonce each bring attention to  the topic in a different way, but the intention/message of their songs is  similar.
