Feedback form is now closed.
The fashion industry  in America is ever-evolving: it can popularize specific trends and in the  next deem them a thing of the past. Fashion magazines, a key vehicle of  communication in this fast-paced industry, utilize linguistic ideas to  provide Americans with current trends in the world of fashion. Vogue magazine  is one of many examples of the way in which language is used to influence the  industry. This project analyzes the relationship between words and fashion  trends from the headlines in Vogue’s issues dating back to the  1980’s.
