Don't be Cocky: The Ethics of the Chicken Industry

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Nearly 9 billion  chickens are raised and slaughtered for their meat each year in the US, not  including the hens used for eggs. Many industries today use marketing labels,  using claims such as "free range" to falsely advertise ethical  treatment of chickens, masking the reality of the gruesome processes  implemented by these companies. This project is meant to expose the horrid  conditions in which these chickens are bred, raised, and slaughtered.
